This tasty and spicy chutney is prepared without grinding coconut. Here is the recipe.
1 tbsp chilli powder
1 tsp crushed chilli
3 green chillies
Lemon sized ball of tamarind
1 tsp mustard seeds
Salt as required
Heat coconut oil in a pan
Splutter mustard seeds and curry leaves
Sauté shallots, green chillies and ginger
Now add chilli powder and crushed chilli
After these ingredients are sautéed well, pour in the tamarind water
Add the grated coconut
Mix and roast well
Add some more curry leaves
This chutney could be stored up to a few weeks.
