Easy and spicy mullu murukku


Rice flour: 1 cup
Urad dal powder: ½ tbsp
Pottu Kadala powder: 1 tbsp
Chilli powder: 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder: ½ tsp
Asafetida: ½ tsp
Salt: to taste
Oil: as required

Mix all the ingredients and knead to a smooth and soft dough.
Spread some oil on the part of the murukku maker where the dough will be placed.
Squeeze the dough into the hot oil
Flip till both sides are cooked
Place the fried murukku on kitchen paper towels to soak extra oil.
