Start off your festival season with this humble chocolate-banana bread

The festival season is here and so does the feast. How about we start it off with some humble sweetness? Grab some ripe Robustas from the grocery store and try out this delicious chocolate bread recipe with it.

Ingredients
300 gm ripe Robusta bananas
1 tsp baking soda
¼ cup coco powder
1 ¼ cup all purpose flour
¼ tsp salt
½ cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
¼ cup yoghurt
1/3 cup choco chips

Preparation
Mash the ripe bananas using a wooden spatula without any lumps
Sift all purpose flour, salt, baking soda and coco powder into a bowl
In a bog bowl, beat butter and sugar
Into it, add the eggs and vanilla essence
Beat well
Add the dried ingredients and the banana puree into this and mix by folding it
Pour the batter into a baking tray
Sprinkle chocolate chips
Tap the tray to release the air bubbles
Bake the banana-chocolate bread in a pre-heated oven of 350 degree for 45-50 minutes
Cut the bread into slices only after it has cooled down.
