The incredibly easy-to-make yet mouth-watering meal can be loaded with nutrients and rainbow colours with a variety of vegetables. Even before you start eating, it can win your heart with the goodness of its aromatic rice, that screams 'comfort' in the season of lent. Here is a simple recipe of corn-mushroom pulao, pair it with yogurt raita and relish.

Ingredients
2 cups basmati rice
1 cup cooked corn
1 finely chopped onion
1 cup mushroom (chopped)
4 tbsp ghee
2 tbsp biryani masala
¼ tsp turmeric powder
Salt as required

Preparation
Boil rice in salted water
Heat ghee in a pan
Sauté the onions
Sauté bell peppers and mushrooms too
Now add corn, biryani masala, turmeric powder and salt
Give everything a good mix
Finally add the boiled rice
Mix well
Enjoy tasty pulav with refreshing yogurt raita.
