Most people enjoy chutney powders, that are spicy and flavoursome, with idli and dosa. In case you are bored of the same old urad dal powder, try this unique powder that has become a rage on the social media.

The powder made with curry leaves could be enjoyed by sprinkling on dosa. This chutney powder tastes amazing with rice too. Here is how to make the powder at home.

Ingredients
4 tsp urad dal
3 tsp yellow split dal
2 tsp cumin seeds
12 red chilies
12 garlic
1 cup curry leaves
1 piece of asafoetida
Some tamarind
Salt as required

Preparation
Wash and strain the curry leaves
Make sure that the leaves are nicely dried
Toast the urad dal, yellow split dal, red chilies, garlic and curry leaves separately
Grind these ingredients along with salt, asafoetida and tamarind in a mixer jar
Delicious curry leaves powder is ready.
