Adoor native kills self after murdering 8-year-old son

Adoor: In a tragic incident, a man killed his eight-year-old son before killing himself in Adoor of Kerala's Pathanamthitta on Tuesday.
The deceased are Melvin (8)and his father Mathew P Alex.
The incident took place at their residence near Thattarupadi-Kottaram road in Enathu on Tuesday morning.
Alex's wife works abroad. He took care of their two children in her absence.
His younger son alerted the neighbours on noticing Melvin's body in the morning. It is suspected that the man committed the murder in an inebriated state, sources said.
