Lucknow: LuLu group chairman and managing director M A Yusuffali has said that LuLu Malls will come up at Varanasi and Noida in Uttar Pradesh in addition to the hyper mall under construction in Lucknow.

He was speaking at a function organized to announce the launch of 81 projects with an investment of Rs 60,000 crore in the state. Prime minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the event. Incidentally, Modi represents Varanasi in parliament.

Yusuffali said the work on the hyper mall in Lucknow will be completed ahead of schedule. “Chief minister Yogi Adithyanath is giving all support to the work. Almost 35 % of the construction is over. When operational, the mall will provide employment to 10,000 persons. This will be the biggest mall in north India,” he said.

In his speech, Yussufali also praised Modi’s initiatives to attract investments from abroad.
