Facilitate travel of students to write JEE (Advanced): Kerala HC to Centre

The Kerala High Court

Kochi: The Kerala High Court has directed the central government to facilitate the travel of students to India to write the JEE (Advanced), if overseas exam centres are not allotted.

The HC said the Centre should ensure that the students are allowed to travel on the Vande Bharat Mission flights. The HC single bench also said that steps should be taken to exempt them from quarantine norms.

The JEE (Advanced), entrance examination for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), is scheduled to be held on September 27. But no exam centres were not allotted in foreign countries, including in Dubai. The petition was filed against this by Kozhikode native Shanta Bhaskaran and Surekha Navasarikar.
