The Kerala government's Institute of Human Resources Development (IHRD) had envisioned the technical higher secondary group to impart dedicated training for young students, who aim for higher education in scientific-technical subjects.

Students who have received allotment but don’t secure temporary admission will not be considered for subsequent allotments.
The last date for applying for Plus One or Class 11 in Kerala for the upcoming academic year has been extended to August 20 from August 15
