Hello
The last day to file tax returns for FY24 without fine is July 31.
The decision was made during a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to address the issues faced by KSRTC.
With this revision, the DA will rise from 7 to 9 per cent.
The staff has threatened to take out a “non-cooperation protest” from March 10.
The only group of employees who received their full salary were the Secretariat staff.
In a statement, the state committee of KPCTA alleged that the government's financial mismanagement was the reason behind the freezing of salaries and pensions.
The minister also cited a specific technical issue with the Employee Treasury Savings Bank (ETSB) accounts that restricts withdrawals to Rs 50,000.
The protest would be led by the Secretariat Action Council, an umbrella body of service organisations with allegiance to opposition parties.
Finance department claimed that they are hoping to disburse the salary on Monday.
The decision will benefit a total of 60,232 people.
