According to the new syllabus released by the CBSE, the chapters and topics that were slashed in the last academic year have been restored in the official curriculum for the upcoming academic session, 2021-22.
The framework is the basis for a larger project exercise currently underway where 40 assessment designers, 180 test item writers and 360 master trainer mentors are being trained in using this framework to create a model question bank and collection of ideal lesson plans.
The CBSE has also allowed schools to conduct practical exams in shifts, allowing up to three shifts in a day.
The Central Board of Secondary Education on Friday issued a revised board exam date sheet for a few subjects, including mathematics, commerce and physics, for classes 10 and 12.
The CBSE Class 10 & 12 board exams will be held from May 4 to June 10.
As announced earlier the CBSE final-year examinations will be held in the pen-and-paper mode.
The board has also revised timelines for the application process as per the restructured system.
Practical examinations will be conducted from March 1 and the final results will be announced on July 15.
Usually, practical tests are conducted in January and theory exams begin in February and conclude in March.
