Thiruvananthapuram: Dismissing reports, BJP State President Rajeev Chandrasekhar said party's core committee has not taken a decision not to field an NDA candidate for the Nilambur bypolls. however, he said an election to find a representative for seven months is irrelevant. He also claimed that
BJP chief criticised the opposition parties for blocking Waqf Act.
Chandrasekhar will submit his nomination at the BJP state committee office on Sunday.
His statement came a day after his social media post about ending his public life created a flutter in political circles.
