The Election Commission on April 10 ordered the stoppage of release of Prime Minister Modi's biopic till the Lok Sabha elections conclude.
The producer of the film, Sandip Singh, himself confirmed the news.
The filmmakers had moved the apex court challenging the EC's order delaying its release.
The EC order came a day before the movie was to be released.
The announcement comes just a day after the film's makers deferred its release from April 5.
In the over-three-minute video, it was revealed that pulling off the look of Prime Minister Narendra Modi wasn't an easy job for the Bollywood actor.
Produced by Suresh Oberoi and Anand Pandit the film will release on 5th April 2019.
