St Teresa's pips SH Thevara to claim Trend Setter title

Kochi: St Teresa's College, Ernakulam defeated a spirited challenge from SH College, Thevara, and UKF College of Engineering and Technology, Kollam, to win the Trend Setter title.

The competitions, named 'Trends Onam Nalla Olam', were conducted by Trends, with the support of Malayala Manorama, during the Onam season.

The grand finale and prize distribution were held at Gokulam Convention Centre in Kochi.

St Teresa's took home the winners trophy and a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh. Second-placed SH College received Rs 75,000 in cash prize, while UKF College of Engineering and Technology secured the third spot and collected Rs 50,000.

BCM College, Kottayam, which received the jury's special mention, received Rs 20,000.

Seven colleges got through to the finale from the semi-finals.

Trends Mega Fashion Show and Kids Fashion Show were also held.

The winners received prizes worth Rs 8 lakhs.

Actors Neeraj Madhav and Namitha Pramod gave away the prizes to the winners.

Trends Kerala Fashion and Lifestyle Business Head Vinod Subramanian, Malayala Manorama Marketing and Advertising Sales Vice President Varghese Chandy, Trends Kerala Marketing Head Jayadevan Unni, Trends Kerala New Store Opening Head Manoj Cheeran, Trends Format Head S Rajesh addressed the gathering.
