Tapioca is an unavoidable part of Kerala cuisine. Here is the recipe of tapioca unniyappam, a tasty snack that can be enjoyed with your evening tea.

Ingredients

3 cups shaved tapioca

1 cup rice flour

½ cup grated coconut

300 gms melted jaggery

Preparation

Prepare the batter by lightly blending all the ingredients in a mixer jar

Heat oil in an unniyappam vessel

Pour a spoon full of batter into the holes of the vessel

Fry by flipping the unniyappam.
