Pazham nurukku

Pazham nurukku is a Kerala recipe made from ethapazham (banana) and can be served as a snack item. Pazham nurukku is also an important dish for Vishu. The sweetness of jaggery and banana when mixed with ghee is so delicious that you wouldn't feel like stop eating this snack.

Ingredients
½ cup ghee
2 big bananas (cut into six pieces)
½ cup melted jaggery
1 tsp cardamom powder

Preparation
Heat ghee in a pan and roast the banana pieces
When the bananas turn golden brown add the melted jaggery and mix well
Cook for three minutes before adding cardamom powder
Give it a good mix before serving in plantain leaves.
