Ingredients
4 big bananas
1 cup rice flour
4 tbsp jaggery or as per taste
1 cup grated coconut
1 tbsp ghee
½ tsp cardamom powder
Salt as required
Water as required
Plantain leaves as required

Peparation
Steam the bananas; remove the seeds and mash them
Mix salt in hot water
Into a bowl add the rice flour and ghee
Pour the salted hot water slowly
Mix into soft dough
Now add the mashed bananas into this dough
Mix well
Add the grated coconut and jaggery as well
Mix everything well together
Scoop a ball of dough and spread it thinly on the plantain leaf
Fold the leaf
Boil water in a steamer
Place the ila ada in the steamer
Cook well
Enjoy the banana ila ada with tea or coffee.
