Spicy prawns roast

Tasty Kerala-style prawns roast cooked with lots of shallots is the perfect side dish with boiled rice. Interestingly, this dish can be prepared in just 10 minutes. Check out the recipe.

500 gm prawns
2½ tbsp chilli powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp salt
Juice of half lemon
10 cloves garlic
1 inch piece of ginger
25 shallots
1 tomato
1 sprig curry leaves
½ tsp pepper powder
1 tsp garam masala
3 tbsp coconut oil

Devein and clean the prawns
Marinate the cleaned prawns with chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and lemon juice
Keep them aside for 30 minutes
Heat coconut oil in a pan and fry the marinated prawns
Keep them aside to be used later
Sauté the shallots, garlic and ginger with tomato, curry leaves, pepper powder and garam masala in the same pan
Now add the fried prawns into it
Roast on low flame until the prawns are brown in colour
Enjoy the tasty prawns roast.
