Razak’s brand - new abode that stands in a 9 cents rectangular plot has been grabbing attention for its classy elevation and modern style. The family wanted spacious interiors that do not reflect the spatial limitations of the small plot. Besides, they wished for simple spaces that are easy to maintain and ensure privacy too.
The owner runs a business in his hometown. As his wife too drives a car, they wanted two car porches for the structure. The grand elevation features the tropical and contemporary fusion style. The slanted roof has been paved with roofing tiles.
The glass walls on the sit out and the balcony add a chic elegance to the elevation. Meanwhile, the front yard has been paved with natural stones and grass in alternate layers.
Designed in 2550 sqft, this fabulous abode has a sit out, living and dining areas, kitchen with a work area, upper living space and a balcony too. The minimal furnishing adds an elegant ambience to the interiors. Moreover, this makes cleaning and maintenance easier too.
4x2 marbonite tiles have been used for flooring in the house. The custom-made furniture suits the general theme of the house. Meanwhile, the furnishing done in plywood with veneer finish elevates the overall look of the interiors.
The formal living area has been designed by ensuring enough privacy. Instead of concrete walls that block the view, wooden semi – partitions have been installed here. From here, one could enter the spacious hall where the dining space and the stairway are arranged.
The owner didn’t want an elaborate stairway that takes up too much space. In his opinion, the stairway is merely a passage that connect the floors and is not a designer piece. So, concrete stairway has been avoided. Instead, wooden planks have been paved on industrial structure to design this simple yet elegant stairway. This stairway leads to the upper living area where the TV unit has been arranged.
Two bedrooms each have been arranged on both the floors. The spacious bedrooms have designer veneer panelling highlights on the head side walls. Interestingly, sharp edges are avoided for the cot in the kids’ bedroom. Instead, a sloping edge has been given, granting a unique look to the cot.
The modern kitchen is designed in multi wood finish. A quaint breakfast counter with nano white top has been arranged as part of the kitchen area. Meanwhile, the counter top is paved with black granite.
A CCTV monitor too has been installed in the kitchen to keep an eye on the surroundings.
This modern abode with simple yet elegant features has become the talk of the town. The family too are happy that they got their dream abode by effortlessly overcoming the spatial challenges posed by the small plot.
