The NMC has earlier clarified that the medical students who fled the war in Ukraine will not be allowed to continue their education in India. Now, the Commission has expressed its reluctance in accepting the credentials of students getting transferred to other European universities.
Twenty-five per cent additional seats are being created for foreign students in educational institutions across India. These foreign students will not have to undergo the process of appearing for entrance tests. All students who have foreign passports will be considered as foreigners.

he High Court has instructed the secretary of the higher education department to issue an order allowing other universities to conduct courses on the distance education mode if the University Grants Commission doesn’t give approval to the Sree Narayana Guru Open University. Justice Devan Ramachandran said that the order must be issued before 26 August.
