Applications are invited for the various skill development programs at the Indian Institute of Infrastructure and Construction in Chavara, Kollam. The last date for application is 17 September. Courses
Managerial: PG Diploma in Advanced Construction Management/ Interior Design and Constriction/ Digital Project Management/ Urban Planning and Management/ Road Construction Management/ MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) Systems and Management/ Industrial Safety Engineering is a one year course; those who have BTech and BArch courses in the subject can apply. Meanwhile, graduation in Physics or Chemistry is enough to apply for the Industrial Safety course.

Supervisory: Advanced Diploma in Building information Modelling (6 month course; the applicants need to have BTech in Civil Engineering or BArch), Hospitality Management (one year course; plus two is the minimum eligibility for applying), Geographical Information System (6 month course; BTech/ Diploma in respective fields).

Technician: Assistant Electrician Level 3/ Assistant Plumber General Level 3/ Draftsperson Civil Works Level 4/ Housekeeping Trainee Level 3/ Construction Laboratory and Field Technician Level 4 (31 – 77 days; the applicants should have passed classes 5 – 10 and posses work experience too).
