A three-year-old girl was bitten by a stray dog inside her Omallur home, sustaining eye injuries, prompting local concerns over increasing dog attacks and a lack of action.
The bites on the child’s face and head may have allowed the virus to reach the brain.

The incident occurred around 6 pm on Friday when the dog jumped and bit a baby in its mother’s arms.

The doctor was bitten while walking towards the hospital after parking the vehicle. Besides the doctor, posted with the Orthopaedic department, the victims include a female employee of the ENT department, two temporary staff, and two bystanders.
The District Administration hopes that the programme can be started on 30th September.
