Hello
A group of school children, including girls, were abused and beaten up at a bus stop in Mannarkkad near here last Friday while they were waiting for a bus to go back home.
The police action is based on a complaint that a group of boys and girls were attacked and beaten up by a gang for sitting next to each other at a bus stop. So far five persons have been arrested.
Though the law insists on completing the trial within a year in cases under the POCSO Act, there are hundreds of cases on which trials are yet to begin, even after 5 years.
The Thiruvananthapuram couple who were recently reunited with their baby separated at birth finally got married.
The Child Welfare Committee had to return another baby, a girl, which was abandoned nine months ago by its biological mother.
Anupama urged the state government to dismiss the KSCCW officials in the light of the revelation that the body had misled the family court by submitting fake documents.
Ajith and Anupama, who were recently reunited with their child, have alleged the CPM to be behind the poster.
Anupama's protest will begin on December 10, World Human Rights Day, and will continue till the people responsible for separating her from her child are brought to book.
The government cannot ignore the report that points a finger at the CPM nominees heading both bodies.
The smoke has not settled yet as Anupama plans to take on the fight till those guilty in the case are punished.
