Hello
MP & WFI chief
Delhi Police cited alleged incidents from Tajikistan in its case against Singh, claiming that these events show his awareness of his actions.
Vinesh's outburst comes after the United World Wrestling provisionally suspended the Wrestling Federation of India for not conducting elections on time.
However, the court has imposed certain conditions, including a directive to the accused not to leave the country without prior permission and to refrain from threatening or influencing the complainants or witnesses.
The court also granted bail to Vinod Tomar, the suspended assistant secretary of the WFI, in the case.
Taking cognisance of the chargesheet, Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) Harjeet Singh Jaspal directed Brij Bhushan to appear before the court on July 18.
The delay in taking action drew global attention when top wrestlers threatened to throw their medals into the Ganges in May in protest about five months after accusing Singh of groping young women during tournaments.
Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik and Bajrang Punia posted identical tweets where they said the government has fulfilled its promise of filing a chargesheet.
Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia, Sakshi Malik, Sangeeta Phogat, Satywart Kadian and Jitender Kinha will need to defeat the victors of the trials to secure their spot in the Asian Games and World Championships.
The matter has now been listed for June 27.
In the wake of rescheduled elections, the dates of nominations, scrutiny and withdrawal of nomination is also likely to change.
