Kollam KSRTC depot's holiday tour packages: Dates, fares, timings

The Kollam KSRTC budget tourism cell recently announced interesting tour packages from its depot during this summer vacation season. The destinations include eco-tourism spots, pilgrimage centres, trekking havens and more. Here are the details.  
Destinations and other details 
• The Kollur Mookambika pilgrimage tour starts at noon on April 1. The two-day, three-night trip covers Udupi, Ananthapura, Madhur, Parassinikadavu, and Vadakkunatha temples. Ticket price – ₹3500. 
•Ponmudi trip is on April 2; ticket costs ₹650. 
•Rosemala trip has been scheduled on April 3; ticket costs ₹520 per head. 

•Another pilgrimage connecting Kattil Mekkathil and Mannarasala temples is on April 4. The trip, which also includes the Ashtamudi Veerabhadra temple, Kattil Mekkathil temple, Haripad Subramania temple, Mannarasala, Ochira, Valiyazheekkal bridge, and Krishnapuram Palace, starts at 5.30 am and returns to Kollam by 7.30 pm. The charges for this package are ₹400. A Ramakkalmedu trip has also been scheduled for the same day; ticket price – ₹1020. 
•The trip from Kollam to Amba Samudram starts at 5 am on April 5. The package includes Aryankavu, Thenkasi, sunflower fields, and Papanasam Ambasamudram. The bus returns to Kollam by 9.30 pm. Passengers could book their seats for this trip by paying ₹675. Meanwhile, the Poovar Island trip on the same day costs ₹1,200. 

•Wayanad trip on April 8 starts at 8 am and covers famous spots like Chooralmala Township and 900 Kandi Eco Point. The ticket costs ₹4,460, including all the entrance fees, jungle safari, and accommodation. 
•Paniyeliporu trip is on April 11; ticket costs ₹1,050. 
•The trip to Panchalimedu is on April 12 with ticket charges at ₹820.
•The trip to some of the famous temples in the Malappuram district has been scheduled on April 13. This pilgrimage trip costs ₹1,540. 

•The metro vibes trip is on April 14; tickets – ₹870
•The trip to the Poovar Islands starts from Kollam at 6 am on April 15 and returns by 9 pm. The ticket costs ₹1,200, including all the entry fees. 
•The Madurai – Rameshwaram bus leaves Kollam depot at 4 am on April 16. The trip also covers Thenkasi, Madurai, Rameshwaram and Dhanushkodi. Ticket – ₹2,150. 

•The Guruvayoor trip starts at 9 pm on April 17. The passengers are offered a special queue facility as part of the package. Besides, it also covers Mammiyoor, Anakottil, Thriprayar, Kodungallur, and Paravur Dakshina Mookambika temples. The charges are ₹1,360. 
•The Athirappilly - Silver Storm trip on April 18 also covers prominent tourist attractions like the waterfalls, water theme park and ice world. Ticket – ₹2,150.
