Prajyoti college conducts awareness class on RBI Integrated Banking Ombudsman scheme

Pudukad: A banking awareness program on the Reserve Bank Integrated Ombudsman scheme (RB-IOS) was organized by the Commerce Department of Prajyoti Niketan College, Pudukad.

The program commenced with the welcome speech by Alan Lukose, Head of the Commerce Department. MJ Bhaskar, Deputy Ombudsman & DGM, RBI Trivandrum Region lit the lamp, Principal Dr. Binu P Chacko delivered the presidential address emphasizing the importance of financial literacy.

Hemanth Kuppili, Assistant Manager, RBI conducted the awareness programme focusing on the Reserve Bank Integrated Ombudsman scheme and its role in the financial landscape. The question and answer session followed, allowing participants to solve their queries.

He along with Gokul S Kumar, Assistant at RBI, conducted a quiz competition for the students on the session and the winners were rewarded with prizes.

The programme concluded with the words of gratitude delivered by Mr. George Jose, Assistant Professor in Commerce, to all the officials, teachers and Students.

This initiative not only enhanced students' knowledge about banking intricacies but also provided a platform for interactive learning and inquiry.
