Malabar special fried fish curry

Malabar is known for its unique preparations and mind-blowing flavours. This special fried fish curry is quite popular and has bags of flavour in it. Check out the easy recipe of Malabar special fried fish curry.

Ingredients
500 gms fish
4 tsp chilli powder
½ tsp turmeric powder
Salt as required
Oil as required
2 onions
2 green chillies
Curry leaves
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp garlic
2 tomatoes
2 tbsp coriander powder
¼ tsp garam masala

Preparation
Marinate the fish with turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt as required. Fry these marinated fish fillets.
Fry the onions to brown colour. Allow the fried onions to cool down before grinding them.
Heat coconut oil in an earthen vessel and sauté onions and curry leaves.
Into it add crushed ginger, garlic and green chillies.
Sauté until the raw smell is off.
Add the tomatoes and allow it to cook nicely.
Add chilli powder and coriander powder and sauté.
Pour enough water and add salt as required.
Add the fried fish and onion paste and mix well.
When the oil begins to separate, sprinkle the garam masala over the curry and take it off the flame.
