Astrology can explain the origin, spread and control of COVID-19. For instance, though the disease was reported from early December 2019, the first confirmed cases came to light only by December 29 at Wuhan in China. Incidentally, during the last week of December, six planets converged in Dhanu ‘rasi’ (Sagittarius) and a solar eclipse took place on December 26.
During this solar eclipse influenced by Ketu, Jupiter the planet which performs divine functions suffered a loss of powers. This resulted in Ketu, which causes diseases including viral infections, becoming stronger.
Another peculiarity of December 26 was that Sun, Moon, Mercury and Jupiter were under the ‘Moolam’ star, which is influenced by Ketu. It seems the viral outbreak was caused by this astrological arrangement. Adding weight to this premise, Rahu was present in Mithunam ‘rasi’ (Gemini) under its own star Thiruvathira.
The spread of the virus intensified when Ketu was joined by Mars. By early February 2020, Mars fought with Ketu and after acquiring immense powers approached Saturn, which was placed in Makaram ‘rasi’(Capricorn). As a result, Mars gained ‘Agnimarutha yogam’ which led to the present condition of the disease.
By March 29 midnight, Jupiter entered its adverse phase. Two days later, on April 1, a battle took place between Saturn and Kujan in Makaram ‘rasi’, leading to the former’s defeat. This has led to the disease becoming more severe around the world.
However, the pandemic is likely to become less dangerous after April 5, when Mars moves to Thiruvonam from Uthradom, where it is accompanied by Saturn and Jupiter. (Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on April 3 through a video and called for display of solidarity by the people in the country on April 5 by switching off the electric lights and lighting candles or flashing mobile phones).
As per astrology, when Sun enters Medam ‘rasi’(Aries) on the night of April 13, the spread of the pandemic is likely to decrease and the world can hope for relief.
On the night of May 4, Mars would enter the Kumbham ‘rasi’ (Aquarius) and the pandemic would pose less threat. The situation would start returning to normal by May 20, when Rahu travels from Thiruvathira to Makayiram.
Meanwhile, intense efforts to find an effective medicine against COVID-19 would be carried out when Sun travels in Mithunam, the ‘rasi’ of Mercury and success may be achieved after July 16, when the Sun enters Karkidakam.
Prayers may be offered to the god Bhairavan for recovery from the disease. This is because, Rahu and Thiruvathira align during this period. In case you are not able to offer prayers to Bhairavan, the mantra, “Om Bhairavaya Namah” could be chanted in the morning and evening.
In addition, one can also chant prayers to goddess Bhadrakali to lessen the intensity of Mars and the disease-causing Ketu.
