Rajat Patidar has invited the ire of fans with an incompassionate post hours after a stampede outside Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru that killed 11.
Karnataka Deputy CM D K Shivakumar attended the celebrations inside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
The CM also announced a compensation of ₹10 lakh each to the kin of the deceased and free treatment for the injured.
There have been IPL celebrations in the past as well, like in Kolkata last year when KKR won but nothing happened there, said Devajik Saikia.
