Producers have resolved to make artists and technicians submit these undertakings to prevent drug use not only at filming locations but also at their accommodations.

In a letter sent to its members, the Association pointed out that for most Malayalam films, theatrical revenue remains the primary, and often the only source of income.
As per the list prepared by the Producers’ Association for movies released in February this year, the theatre share of ‘Athma Saho’ was a mere Rs 30,000.
'Love Dale' directed by Vinu Sridhar and made on a budget of Rs 1,60,86,700 managed to only collect Rs 10,000 in theatres.
