Sisodia was arrested by the CBI last month and he is currently in judicial custody.
The CBI had arrested Sisodia last week in connection with alleged corruption in the formulation and implementation of the now-scrapped liquor policy for 2021-22.
The CBI had sought three more days of custody of Sisodia after producing him before the court on expiry of his three-day remand granted earlier.
The development comes after the resignation of Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has accepted their resignations, officials said.
The bench observed that just because the incident has happened in Delhi, Sisodia cannot come to the apex court directly as he has his remedies before the trial court concerned as well as the Delhi High Court.
The court will take up the matter at 3:50 pm.
Sisodia was originally summoned last Sunday but he sought deferment of his questioning citing the ongoing Budget exercise.
The sanction to prosecute Sisodia was granted under Section 17 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
According to sources, Delhi Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena has directed the city police commissioner to take cognisance of the allegations.
