Siddaramaiah took the oath of office with Shivakumar and eight ministers on May 20
Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot administered them oath of office and secrecy.
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar had met party General Secretaries KC Venugopal and Randeep Singh Surjewala to discuss the cabinet expansion.

Shivakumar moved a resolution to elect Siddaramaiah as the new leader of the CLP.
At least nine chief ministers, including MK Stalin and Mamata Banerjee have been invited for Saturday's swearing-in at Bengaluru.
DK Shivakumar will continue as Pradesh Congress Committee chief till the parliamentary elections in 2024.
