Mumbai: The State Bank of India (SBI) has written off loans worth Rs 7,016 crore owed to it by 63 willful defaulters including beleaguered business tycoon Vijay Mallya's defunct Kingfisher Airlines, news reports said Wednesday.
Kingfisher Airlines, that heads the list of willful defaulters, owed Rs 1,201 crore to the SBI.
As many as 63 accounts were fully written off, 31 partially written off and six shown as NPAs, reports said.
