Kerala Plus-Two written exams to conclude today, practicals postponed

Thiruvananthapuram: The Plus-Two (Class 12) written exams of the 2020-21 academic year conducted by the Kerala Government are concluding on Monday with students taking the Computer Science, Journalism, Statistics, Philosophy, Home Science and Gandhian Studies papers. Exams in all other subjects were completed earlier.

Meanwhile, the practical examinations that were to be conducted from Wednesday have been postponed due to the surge in COVID-19 cases. The exams for Vocational Higher Secondary Education students too have been postponed. New dates will be announced later.

The Plus Two practical exams were scheduled to end on May 15.

A petition was earlier filed before the State Human Rights Commission seeking postponement of the practical exams in view of the COVID-19 situation and the rights panel had sought an explanation from the Education Department. 

Pending SSLC exams 

For SSLC (Class 10) students, the pending exams are those of Social Science, Biology and the second paper of the first language, including Malayalam. These exams are expected to be held from Tuesday to Thursday.
