Thiruvananthapuram: As heavy rains have been forecast in Kerala, the regular virtual classes won't be aired on the KITE Victers channel from Wednesday (Oct 20) to Friday (Oct 22).

Meanwhile, the virtual sessions that were aired from last Saturday until this Monday would be retelecast in the same order.

These classes would be available on the KITE Victers Plus channel too.

Virtual classes for the 2021-22 academic year had begun for school students in Kerala from June 1 as the schools continue to remain shut since the outbreak of the COVID-19 early last year.

The online sessions were being held for classes I to 12 , except class 11, on the KITE Victers channel from 8:30am to 5:30pm from Monday to Friday. Each class has been given a specific time slot. These special sessions, called as First Bell, are available on YouTube as well. A re-telecast of the sessions are often held for class 10 and 2 students on the same day, and for other students on Saturday and Sundays.

As per latest plans, schools are set to be reopened from November 1. However, online sessions too will available simultaneously.
