Complaints continue to come up against the last-minute changes in the exam centres for CUET-UGC without prior notice. There are complaints that even after the applicants were informed that they would be allotted centres in cities of their choice, they were finally assigned centres, some of which were even 150 km away.

Though the National Testing Agency (NTA) promised to conduct exams for those who would miss the exams because of these last-minute changes, students claim that there is no clarity regarding this as well. And to make matters worse, the candidates are also complaining that they are not able to contact the NTA officials by phone.

Currently, the situation is such that they need to frequently check the admission card on the website to get updates. The name of the centre which was mentioned the previous day might change the next day. They are also not getting updates about the last-minute changes in centres.

Due to technical issues exams are being cancelled in certain centres. Since 13 centres cancelled the exams on Wednesday, around 8600 students will have to take a retest on the 25th. And due to such issues, this year’s admission process will be delayed. According to the first schedule, the exams were meant to finish tomorrow.
