Thiruvananthapuram: The higher secondary Plus-One admission process in Kerala has now reached the final stretch. The allotment list of students who applied for district-wise transfer and school–combination change has been published. Those who got this allotment for changing district, school or subject combination should secure admission within 5 pm on 6 October.
This would be last chance to secure admission as per the latest allotment. After that, the vacant seats in schools would be open for spot admission.
This year’s admission to the higher secondary and vocational higher secondary courses would be completed by 10 October.
Separate admission should be sought even if the candidate gets a combination change in the same school as per the latest transfer allotment. They only need to pay the additional fees, if any. However, those who got school transfer in the same combination need not pay any fees at the new school. But, they need to pay the caution deposit and Parent–Teacher Association fund. Besides these, the candidates need to pay any additional fees, if any, at the new school. The Principal at the new school should keep the fee receipt from the candidate’s old school.
Certificate and fees
The students who seek transfer to another school should be given Transfer Certificate and conduct certificate without any delay. The Director of General Education instructed that the caution deposit and the PTA fund paid at the first school should be refunded as and when the school authorities receive the application.
