An unassuming girl, Chippy, has won the hearts of Malayali television audience and netizens with her benevolence. She came into limelight with a superb performance in a recent show on on Mazhavil Manorama, but touched the hearts of millions as her father revealed she has been donating her prize moneys for charity for a long while.

Chippi's perfects mudras and beautiful postures on the stage of ‘Thakarpan Comedy’, the superhit comedy show aired on Mazhavil Manorama, were enough to get her applause. A classical dancer from a very young age, Chippi impressed with her amazing dance performance. However, the video of her performance has now gone viral on the social media because of her father’s touching words.

The show was the 10-year old’s 130th on stage.

When Chippi’s father Pradeep, who was overcome with emotion, said he had never been able to buy even an ice cream for his daughter with the prize money that she had earned from all these venues, the audience too couldn’t hold back their tears. She has been donating all the money she received to help the cancer patients at the Regional Cancer Center, Thiruvananthapuram, he revealed.

From a young age itself, the talented artiste used to save all the money she received as prize. The philanthropist in her came to the fore when her class teacher once asked the students to donate money to help the less-privileged kids, Chippi didn’t think twice to give away her precious savings. She decided to help the patients at the RCC after she watched a news story about the hospital on a TV channel.

Chippi is the daughter of Ochira-natives Pradeep and Chitra. They said that their daughter is indeed a gift given to them by the Almighty.
