Actors in the Malayalam film industry have another competition. Business baron and film producer Gokulam Gopalam could vie with them if we consider his performance in the upcoming film 'Netaji' which is on freedom fighter Subash Chandra Bose.

Gopalan is playing the titular role of Netaji, as Bose is known,in the movie written and directed by Vijeesh Mani.

Gokulam Gopalan has stunned the entire crew with his acting skills, Vijesh said. The shooting of the movie is progressing now at Attapadi.

Gopalan is familiar to movie buffs as a producer of many renowned films. The recently released movie 'Kayamkulam Kochuni' was produced by Gopalan's company Sree Gokulam Films. Recently, he had decided to take up acting too.

Top technicians from South India are part of the 'Netaji' project, according to sources.

The cast includes 'Clint' fame master Alok, Felix Kuruvila, Roji P Kurien, Issc John, Ashley Boban, Prasanna Pillai, Rajesh B Murali, Mattummel. The screenplay and dialogues are by U Prasanna Kumar, editing by Rahul Clubbed, sound design by Harikumar Madhavan Nair, music by Jubair Muhammed and Dr Rajesh V and lyrics by Dr Prasanth Krishnan. The camera department is handled by M J Radhakrishnan.

Vijesh, best known as the director of 'Vishwaguru' (2017) had set a Guinness World Record for making and releasing that film in 51 hours and 2 minutes.
