For those who have been wondering where Farhaan Faasil had gone after his stunning performance in Njan Steve Lopez, the answer is here. Farhaan will be soon seen on the screen in an entirely different avatar.
The first-look poster of Basheerinte Premalekhanam, the latest film to be directed by Aneesh Anwar, comes as a surprise for those who still remember city-grown modern youth Steve portrayed by Farhaan in his debut film.
The poster with a vintage touch features Farhaan as a young man of Kerala in the 80's sporting thick hair and moustache and clad in a check shirt.
While the hero is shown as writing something under the light of a table lamp, probably a love letter, as the title suggests, the heroine, played by Sana Althaf, is seen as reading the letter sitting on a brownish wooden staircase with two pigeons in her company.
The poster looks promising and makes the nature of the film clear. It's going to be a romantic narrative.
Basheerinte Premalekhanam is Aneesh's third directorial venture after Zachariyayudey Garbhinikal (2013) and Kumbasaram (2015). While Shinodh, Shamseer and Bibin have scripted the film, the lyrics are byRafeeq Ahammed, Venu Maitri and Arshidh.
Vishnu Mohan Sitara handles the music for the film to be produced by Fort Entertainment.
Apart from Farhaan and Sana the cast include thespian Madhu, Sheela, Renji Panicker, Dileesh Pothan, Sunil Sugatha, Aju Varghese, Sreejith Ravi and Kammatipadam-fame Manikandan.
