The 1.29-minute video spills out the crux of the film - it's undoubtedly about a middle-class Malayali man's love life outside marriage. The trailer offers glimpses of the life of panchayat secretary Ulahannan and his wife Aaniyamma, played by the evergreen perfect on-screen couple -- Mohanlal and Meena.
If the trailer is anything to go by, the film is likely to be an all-out entertainer with a blend of humor and a pinch of melodrama.
The star cast include Anoop Menon, Kalabhavan Shajon, Bindu Menon and Alancier. It's the second directorial venture of Jibu Jacob after the 2014 super-hit Vellimoonga.
Written by Sindhuraj, the film is loosely based on the Malayalam short story Pranayopanishad by V. J. James. Produced by Sophia Paul, Muthirivallikal Thalirkkumpol is scheduled for a December 22 release.
