But, when she stepped on the red carpet, she silenced the fashion police in a way that only she could do.
Aishwarya experimented with a metallic sheath overlaid by a sparkly floor-length cape by the designer Ali Younes. She added a dash of oomph to her look with a bright turquoise blue liner, complementing with blue eye-shadow and bold lashes. She styled her hair in loose waves.
Ash will walk the red carpet on Saturday and will be missing the AmFar Gala for which she has been a regular due to the release of 'Sarabjit' on May 20.
