Even two days after the high profile wedding of NRI businessman Ravi Pillai's daughter Dr. Arathi to Dr. Adithya Vishnu, people are abuzz about the grand preparations that went into the gala ceremony.

A grand stage or mandapa was set up in the shape of a lotus for the wedding. Art director of blockbuster 'Baahubhali' Sabu Cyril was the man behind the exotic settings for the wedding.

But it was the bride decked in diamond, who shone through the exquisite setting of the wedding. Probably going by the saying that diamond is the best friend of a girl, Arathi chose the precious stone for her big day - be it her necklace, bangles, earring or the ring.

The diamond ornaments were brought from foreign countries, sources in the know of things said.

Arathi's red and gold Kanchipuram sari was designed by none other than Bollywood's favourite designer Manish Malhotra, while her makeup was taken care by the popular artist Renju.

The star-studded wedding had in attendance the who's who of the political, business and cine worlds.

Various cultural programmes led by Mollywood celebs were held in the days running up to the wedding.
