ishu-scarf-1 Ishu scarf, also known as anti-paparazzi or the privacy scarf is made from a fabric that reflects the flashlight back into the camera

Being a celebrity is awesome, but you need to sacrifice your privacy for it, said a celeb some time back. But not anymore with the 'Ishu', the anti-flash scarf. It makes you invisible when photos are taken without your consent.

Sounds hard to believe? let's check it out.

Ishu scarf, also known as anti-paparazzi or the privacy scarf is made from a fabric that reflects the flashlight back into the camera, making the subject's image pitch black—pure science, blended with fashion, that's all there is to it! The camouflage scarf gives the wearer the control over their images which in turn keeps them from going viral.

The brains behind the invention of Ishu, is the Indian-born fashion designer Saif Siddiqui. The name Ishu, as quoted by Saif, originated from two words- “issue” and “ssh” ! The product also works for videos taken using flash.

The scarf is being compared to modern day Harry potter's invisibility cloak by netizens and it's already found its place in the wardrobes of many Hollywood celebrities like Paris Hilton, Cameron Diaz, Hannah Simone and football player Jermaine Defoe.

Well, if we have to find a drawback in Ishu it would be that it doesn't work with no-flash photography. And, with technology evolving, we have cameras that capture excellent pics in the dark even without camera flash.

Team Ishu is planning on launching more of their anti-flash products such as wallets and phone cases in the coming months and they would hit the markets by August.

The scarf is available in black, red, blue, green and grey colours, and comes with a price tag of about $200 to $700.
