You will need:
About 16 water bottles depending on the height of the tree, it is ideal to start small and then once you have the desired effect, build on it. It is a trial and error method.
Green and white paint for painting the waterbottles
Glue to stick it all up
Styrofoam for the snowman
Plastic forks for the snowman.
