2 Malappuram youths killed in bike accident en route to ISL final

Kasaragod: Two youths were killed in a bike accident at Uduma Pallath here on Saturday.

Malappuram natives Jamsheer and Mohammad Shibin were en route to Goa to watch the ISL final when the fatal accident occurred. The accident took place at around 5am on Sunday when their bike collided with a mini lorry. Both victims died on the spot.

They likely travelled for hours without stopping, the police informed.

There was slight rain in the region at the time of the accident. The police investigation has commenced.

The seven-member-gang including Jamsheer and Shibin were on the way to Goa to watch the finals of the ISL. They were travelling on a bike and car.

Jamsheer is a relative of Hyderabad FC player Abdul Rabeeh. Rabeeh had sponsored the tickets for the duo.

Kerala Blasters will take on Hyderabad FC at the Indian Super League final on Sunday. The match will begin at 7.30 pm at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa.
