Three Keralite students die in Sharjah accident Ashmid, Shifam Musthafa and Mohamed Sunoon

Sharjah: Three Keralite students died in an accident near Al Madam here on Friday night.

The deceased have been identified as Ashmid (19) son of Ashraf, native of Nadapuram in Kozhikode, Shifam Musthafa (19) son of Mustafa, native of Panoor in Kannur, and Mohamed Sunoon (19), a native of Feroke in Kozhikode.

The students of Middlesex University in Dubai were returning after visiting a friend's home in Al Madam when the accident happened. The three teenagers died on the spot. Two of their classmates who were also in the car have sustained injuries in the accident and are being treated at a hospital.

Ashmid's father Ashraf has been running a restaurant in Dubai and his mother is Hajara. Arshad, Afzal, Hashir, Ajwad and Fathima are his siblings. The whole family was back in Kerala following vacation, but Ashmid had returned to Sharjah a week ago for the exams.
