Koothattukulam: Two nursery schoolkids and the driver of a school van carrying children were killed when their vehicle rammed a wall at Puthuveli in Kottayam district, near Koothattukulam, Monday morning.
The van, carrying children from Elanji area to Marygiri Public School at Koothattukulam in Ernakulam district, apparently lost its control and hit against the wall.
Nayana Dileep, 7, Annmariya Shiji, 7, and driver Jose Jacob were the deceased.
Both the children died in the accident were studying in UKG class. One child injured in the accident is said to be serious.
There were 15 students in the school van.
The injured have been rushed to the hospitals in Ernakulam and Kottayam districts, police said.
