Representative imagePalakkad: Two persons drowned in Moolathara dam on Sunday.
The deceased have been identified as Gopalapuram native Kaleeshwaran (28) and his friend Mayilswamy (27) from Udumalaipettai.
Mayilswamy and others were visiting Kaleeshwaran in Palakkad. There were five people in the group that went to the dam.
The rest of the five who took dip in the dam escaped unhurt.
