Photo: Russell ShahulKozhikode: European team FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk from Ukraine has won the Sait Nagjee Trophy football championship which was revived after a gap of 21 years. Dnipro steered home in the final played at Kozhikode Corporation stadium beating Atletico Paranaense from Brazil 3-0.
Dnipro edged past Paranaense through Ihor Kohut in the in 40th minute. Denys Balanyuk extended the lead in the 62st minute and Oleksii Larin rounded up by a third one in the 85th minute.
